Patricia Hein
Assistant Professor of SustainabilityPatricia Hein is an assistant professor at Western University London, Canada and holds a doctorate from EBS University (EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht). Her work focuses on the question of how inequality exists in organizations and how it can be overcome. Patricia Hein has done research on the marginalization of people with disabilities, the invisibility of low-paid workers on night shifts, the loneliness of dying patients in palliative care units, and the empowerment of women through female networks.
During her fellowship, Patricia Hein will be looking at the socio-political engagement of high-net-worth individuals, for example in movements such as taxmenow (Europe) or Patriotic Millionaires (USA). The focus of her research is on the motivations and impacts of this engagement.
