Remembering the exiles
Villa Aurora is the former residence of the writer Lion Feuchtwanger and his wife, Marta. During their lifetimes, it was home to one of the most important salons in what became known as “Weimar on the Pacific”.
The series "Remembering the Exiles" uses a wide range of cultural programs-including readings, lectures, concerts, and film screenings-to honor European artists and intellectuals who found a new home in Southern California.
