Yiannos Manoli

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Yiannos Manoli holds the Fritz Huettinger Chair of Microelectronics, Department of Microsystems Engineering at the University of Freiburg. Furthermore, he is one of the directors of the Hahn Schickard Institute of Micromachining and Information Technology. Prior to Freiburg he held positions at the Fraunhofer Institute for Microelectronic Circuits and Systems and the University of Saarland. Manoli studied at Lawrence University, Wisconsin and the University of California, Berkeley. He received the Teaching Award of the State of Baden-Württemberg and numerous best paper awards for his research.
