Yannic Han Biao Federer

Yannic Han Biao Federer is a writer based in Cologne. He is the author of three novels. His books are published with Suhrkamp Verlag, his theater plays with Schaefersphilippen, and his radio features can be heard on WDR, SWR, and DLF. [Most recently, Suhrkamp published his autobiographical novel Für immer seh ich dich wieder (I see you everywhere, forever). In Los Angeles, Yannic Han Biao Federer will be working on an essayistic narrative based on his family’s story of flight. The text aims to shed light on the work of repression that needs to be done, also and especially in literature, to hide Germany’s colonial involvement.
