Volker Harry Altwasser, born 1969 in Greifswald, was the winner of the 2012 “Italo-Svevo-Preis” for creative forwardness.
After several different jobs he begun to study at the “Deutsche Literaturinstitut” at the University of Leipzig. He graduated in his main subject lyric with a diploma.
His deap sea epos Letzte Fischer was nominated for the “Deutscher Buchpreis” in 2011.
During his stay at Villa Aurora, the writer will trace the story of a Feuchtwanger intimate’s life, who fell into oblivion.
