Veit Helmer

I have been making films since I was fourteen years old.

I produce my films through my own company.

My films are narrative in structure but feature little dialogue, sometimes none at all.

During my fellowship at Villa Aurora, I made a documentary titled "Behind the Couch," which explores the casting process in Hollywood.

The film received the German Film Critics’ Award and was acquired by the BBC.
