Julia Lazarus

Julia Lazarus is filmmaker and artist based in Berlin. She studied at the Hochschule der Künste, Berlin and at the California Institute of the Arts, Los Angeles. Since 2001 she realized a number of films, which have been screenend in germany and abroad within exhibitions as well as at international filmfestivals like f.e..rencontres international, Paris; Globale, Berlin; Rotterdam Filmfestival; Istanbul Filmfestival; Kasseler Dok-Fest; Diagonale, Graz and Viennale; Vienna. Her works are in distribution at sixpackfilm vienna and e-flux, Berlin/New York. Her fotografic works are represented by Gallery Funke, Berlin
