Irene von Alberti
FilmFilmIrene von Alberti, born in Stuttgart, studied media technology while also working as a camerawoman and camera assistant, and subsequently studied at the University of Film and Television in Munich. Today she is a director, screenwriter, and producer based in Berlin. Her films deal with socio-political issues from various genre perspectives.
In Los Angeles, Irene von Alberti will be working on a screenplay about migration. The script will tell the interwoven stories of people who want to emigrate from the so-called “First World” to poorer countries in order to escape various real or imagined threats.
