Gerald Eckert

Gerald Eckert’s music taps into exotic instrumental and electronic sounds to express a sensual and dramatic world akin to the existential and lyrical dimensions of the poetry of Nelly Sachs. Mr. Eckert’s calligraphic musical lines render audible the traces of a remote interior landscape. Mr. Eckert is also a cellist and conductor with the “ensemble reflexion,” and an exhibited painter.
