Colin Ardley

Residing in Dresden, Scottish artist Colin Ardley’s work, referencing buildings and urban structure, only appears to emerge out of architecture; but as space for Ardley is dynamic (time, light, place), with perspectives that make us the bird—as in the “bird’s-eye-view,” or some innocent land bound creature, architecture inverts nature and introduces us to the wonder and bafflement of our own environment through alien eyes.
