  • Eligibility:

    • Applications for an artist grant in the field of visual art are accepted only from nominees. This includes individuals and dual applications.
    • For dual applications, a completed and signed application form is required from each applicant.

  • Preparing Your Application:

    • We recommend that you compile the necessary information in a document on your computer before you insert it into the form and send it to us.
    • Formatting Tips:
      • Please note that boldface and italics are not transferred to the form. Use quotation marks or similar for emphasis.
      • Be aware that character limits include spaces.

  • Technical Advice:

    • Content blockers may interfere with the submission of this form. If you encounter issues, we recommend temporarily disabling them to ensure a smooth submission process.

After submitting the application form, we will send you a confirmation email in which you will be provided with an upload link. There you can deposit a portfolio as well as a document with streaming offers as PDF. The submission deadline for your work samples is February 29, 2024, 23:59 (CET).

Additionally, we request that you mail in a catalog, if available. (The mailing deadline is February 29, the postmark applies)

Your data will be collected and stored for the purpose of selecting the Villa Aurora Fellows and the implementation of the fellowship. The provided data will be processed internally and passed on to the jury members exclusively for selection purposes. Your data will be stored on a server in the data center of Artfiles New Media GmbH Artfiles New Media GmbH, Zirkusweg 1, D-20359 Hamburg until the end of the respective application process.

You have the right to receive information about the personal data stored by us at any time and ask for correction in case of errors. At your request we will delete all your personal data.
