The Eclectic Salon concert series brings the extraordinary diversity of Los Angeles’s music scene to life at Villa Aurora. The range spans from experimental sound art and classical works-such as those by Brahms-to microtonal music, poetry, and piano. At its core, the series is about the encounter between a wide variety of musical styles and ensembles, many of which regularly interpret compositions by Villa Aurora fellows.
In collaboration with renowned partners like Jacaranda Music, Salastina Society, Tuesdays@MonkSpace, and other leading new music ensembles in Los Angeles, Eclectic Salon presents innovative programs that reflect the city’s creative energy and foster transatlantic exchange.
