Paul Brodowsky studied creative writing and cultural journalism at the University of Hildesheim from 1999-2005. He co-founded the literary magazine BELLA triste with Wiebke Späth and was its co-publisher until 2004. He was also on the artistic direction team of the literature festival PROSANOVA in 2005. From 2001-2007, Brodowsky taught creative writing at the University of Hildesheim; Since 2007, he has been a research assistant for research and teaching of contemporary literature and its mediation, while working on his doctorate. Brodowsky competed for the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize in 2006. The author lives in Berlin.
